Stating that the only solution to the long-pending dispute is its merger with Pakistan, Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Wednesday said that October 27 marks the beginning of illegal Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. She also castigated the Indian government and the puppet government and its forces of victimizing the victims of oppression and conspiracies in Kashmir. “On 14 August Sub-continent was divided on the basis of Two Nation theory and it was decided the Kashmir will be a part of Pakistan. But it didn’t happen. Then on October 27 India entered Kashmir and occupied this land. It is, thus, which marks the beginning of Kashmir issue and the Indian illegal occupation,” Nasreen said in a statement. “ So the only solution to this issue is that people of Jammu and Kashmir should be given their right to be the part of Pakistan as was decided at the time of partition of India. This right has been snatched from us and whenever we demand our right, India unleashes it brutal and oppressive machinery against us,” Nasreen added. She said that Kashmiris are facing HR violations and oppression on daily basis and such things will continue until Kashmiris are given their right to join Pakistan. “ Oppression, HR violations are sub issues that can stop only when Indian forces leave Kashmir and Kashmir becomes the part of of Pakistan,” she added. She urged the people of Kashmir to take a pledge on October 27 that they will continue their struggle until the last Indian trooper leaves Kashmir. “ We must pledge that no matter how much oppression and brutalities are perpetrated against us, we will continue to fight and won’t compromise at any cost,” she added. Nasreen further said that it was ironical that in Kashmir the Indian forces were pursuing policies to victimize the victims. “ Recently, the whole Kashmir saw when a policeman was caught by a woman in Ganderbal taking her pictures. Irony is that while the culprit policeman was only suspended, the person, who helped the victim woman, has been booked and a PSA is slapped against him and has been sent to Kotbhalwal jail,” she said. Similarly, she said, in Batamaloo while the police has failed the nab any braid chopper, they shamelessly have registered a case against the victim women. “ It is the limit of oppression that the victims of this oppression and multiple conspiracies are being further victimized as cases are being registered against them,” she added.
